Recent updates and the future

Since it was published, the game received a number of small new interface features (e.g. end-of-turn reports, historical records) and now, there is also background music (click on “unmute” to enable it). Furthermore, there is a playthrough video for those who find it hard to get the hang of the game.

With this update, the status shifts from “in development” to “released”. However, there are plans to create a remake with streamlined gameplay, modern GUI, and possibly additional features, e.g. a quasi-multiplayer mode where players compete with each other using the same sequence of random numbers for soil fertility. Don’t hold your breath, though: the timeline is very uncertain, it could take up to a year before the remake is released.
